What’s Tinder Boost & When is The Best Time To Use it?

If you want more matches on Tinder, one trick up your sleeve is the Tinder Boost.

But how does it work? And when should you use it to get the most out of it?

In this article, I’m going to show you exactly what Boost does, and I’ll share with you how to use Tinder Boost to get better results.

What Is Tinder Boost And How Does It Work?

features of tinder boost

Tinder Boost is a premium feature that helps increase your profile's visibility on Tinder. By using Boost, you can move your profile to the front of the queue for 30 minutes and get seen by more potential matches. This is useful because Tinder has millions of users, which means that it's easy for your profile to get lost in the crowd. With Boost, you can stand out and increase your chances of getting matches.

How Tinder Boost Can Help You Get More Matches?

  • Increases your profile's visibility on Tinder
  • Moves your profile to the front of the queue for 30 minutes
  • Helps you get seen by more potential matches
  • Increases your chances of getting matches

Do my Boost Matches See That I Was Using Boost?

No. When your Tinder Boost ends, you'll see an icon next to any new matches you got during the boost period. Your matches won't see this icon, so they won't know you used Boost.

What is the Best Time To Use Tinder Boost?

Best Time To Use Tinder Boost

Our research indicates that for dating apps' peak activity hours research, the best time to use Tinder Boost is around 9 pm on a Sunday evening.

As I said, Tinder Boost puts you toward the front of the queue. I have to emphasize the word “toward” because it doesn’t always put you right at the front. This is because there will always be other people in your area who are boosting themselves at the same time as you. This is why you need to use Tinder Boost at the right time.

Why 9 pm on a Sunday evening?

For one reason, most people are at home. The weekend is coming to a close, they’ve gotta be prepared for work tomorrow, and so they’re spending their last few hours of “freedom” lazying around the house. Maybe they’re prepping their meals for the week ahead, doing a few chores, watching a bit of Netflix – and swiping on Tinder.

You could boost yourself on a Sunday evening from 9 pm until midnight. But the closer the time gets to midnight, the more people will be going to bed. So I’d say between 9 and 10 pm is your optimal time.

When I tried this site, I also found that Friday evenings around 8 pm are very good times to use Tinder Boost. People are getting ready to go out (or they’re already out), and so they’re in the mood for some swiping action. Maybe they’ve had a drink, too, and will be a bit more trigger-happy (they will swipe right more often).

Whatever you do, it’s not a good idea to use Tinder Boost when everyone is at work, or when they’ve just returned from work and are showering and eating dinner (between 6 and 8 pm).

How Much Does a Boost Cost?

Tinder uses a dynamic pricing model, so the price can change from time to time. However, as of 2023, the typical cost of one Tinder Boost is around $6.99.

How do I activate Boost?
