Our Kasidie Review: A Good Option But Not For Everyone!

Kasidie is emerging as a bit of a “hidden gem” among swingers sites.

It's popular with younger swingers looking for a party and who aren't afraid to experiment sexually, and it's also a place where you can make new friends and new connections in the adult world. 

Naturally, there are lots of swinger dating sites out there – so which one is right for you? Is Kasidie worth your money?

I signed up for Kasidie with my partner and put it to the test.

We're both aged 30, we're both sexually adventurous, and we wanted to see whether Kasidie would give us what we wanted in terms of fulfilling our sexual fantasies.

What Is Kasidie? 

Kasidie is a swingers site that doubles up as an adult community. That's to say that, while you can use the site to fulfill your erotic fantasies and meet other horny swinger couples, you can also use it just to make new friends and learn more about the wonderful world of swinging. 

That said, its focus lies primarily on erotica. It wants to help young couples meet other young couples to swing together, arrange swinger parties, and try new things together in (and out of) the bedroom.

And while it isn't the most popular swingers site in the world at the moment, there are still over 20,000 active weekly users, with most couples using the site to find hookups. Of course, singles use this dating site, too, but couples outweigh them vastly, while ages tend to fall below 35 on average.

Who Is Kasidie For? 

Couples – As mentioned, singles do use the Kasidie website, but most Kasidie members sign up as couples. As such, they're predominantly looking for other couples to swing with. 

Young swingers – Kasidie tends to attract a younger crowd. If you're aged between 18 and 35, this might be the swinger site for you. 

Party people – Since Kasidie's user base is made up primarily of younger people; it figures that many of them are part of the “party crowd.” They're looking for a good time!

Those curious about swinging – Not everyone who uses Kasidie has swinging experience. Some who sign up are interested in learning more about swinging. If this sounds like you, Kasidie might be worth a closer look. 

For those who take swinging seriously – Kasidie is a premium swingers site used by a small group of people. Most of them take swinging very seriously and don't want to be bet by time wasters on this dating site.

What Do You Need to Get Started On Kasidie?

You don't have to be a geek to learn how Kasidie works.

The signup process can be as simple and as straightforward as you like, or it can take a little longer. 

To begin, you need to fill in a simple form that requires a username, a password, and a valid email address, as well as confirmation of whether you're registering as a couple or as a single. Are Kasidie Profiles Real? 

Kasidie's profile quality is quite high, with many users taking the time to fill out the detailed questionnaire. This helps them (and you) find what they're looking for, as it showcases everyone's interests, sexual orientation, and sexual preferences. 

On each member's profile, you will also find tabs such as “Looking for …” that give you insights into how compatible the two (or four) of you are. My partner and I found this useful. 

Most Kasidie members also take the time to add multiple photos of themselves and their partners, and, all in all, Kasidie profiles are reasonably detailed. 

Also, it's worth mentioning that fake profiles on Kasidie are rare. This is because Kasidie uses your email address to verify you're a real person/couple. As such, you can almost guarantee that every profile you come across is legit. 

Certified Member Badge

Kasidie gives you a “certified member” badge if you email your profile pictures to [email protected] holding a sign with your username and present date for verification. With this badge, you'll get more attention from the swingers because it will be guaranteed that you're real and serious about the lifestyle.

Making Contact On Kasidie 

The search function is easy to use (user friendly), and it's also free to use. You'll find it under the “Profiles & Photos” tab. You can specify who you're looking for (couples or singles), while other filters include ages, body types, and sexual preferences (do they enjoy swapping, playing, etc.). 

Once you've found someone you like the look of, you can then click on their profile to get a better idea of what they're all about, as well as sift through their photos.

Just like other social media sites, you can send and accept friend requests on Kasidie.

As long as you're a premium member, you can shoot them an icebreaker. It's entirely up to you what you say, but flirting in your first message is not frowned upon as this is a swingers site!

You can also join the chat rooms and contact people from there or find new members on the “My Home” tab. This acts as a Facebook news feed, and it updates you when members add new photos. As long as you're a premium member, you can contact anyone you like.

Use the search functions – As a free registration member, you can use all the search filters to find other new members. However, you can't send or receive messages. 

Browse parties and events – Kasidie lists numerous sex parties and events in your local area and further afield. As a free member, you can browse all of these. 

Read forums – Kasidie is an adult community, and its forum is an integral part of what it does. Here, members can chat, educate each other, flirt, and make new connections. You're free to read the forums, but you can't participate in them unless you upgrade your Kasidie account. 

Browse club listings – As well as listing parties and events, Kasidie also lists club nights. You can browse these for free, as well as additional listings of your own. 

Purchase sex toys and merchandise – Kasidie has a section called eXXXtra, which essentially acts like an online shop where you can purchase sex toys, sex games, and other sexy merchandise. However, Kasidie doesn't sell any of it themselves. Instead, you will be taken to separate websites.

Is It Worth Paying For Kasidie? 

Kasidie is more than just a swingers site. Yes, it's used by couples and singles looking for a hookup, but you shouldn't get discouraged by its relatively small user base. Compared to rival dating sites, Kasidie has a lot fewer users. However, its chat rooms and forums are always busy, and its members are always active, posting photos, updating their feeds, sharing stories – and replying to messages. 

Because of its fair price, Kasidie is worth it if you want to make genuine connections in the swinger world. Of course, you might not necessarily land a hookup immediately. Still, the fact that it lets everyone share club listings and party events mean it's also possible to find swingers away from the site while using it. 

My partner and I certainly got a lot of success out of it. We made new friends, got invited to parties, and would continue using the site. 

How's the Privacy, Security & Customer Support of Kasidie?

One of the things we all worry about when we sign up for a swingers site is scammers. Fortunately, Kasidie has very few fake profiles, thanks to the fact that anyone who signs up must have a valid email address. 

And if there's someone on the site you want to block, you can easily do so by heading into “Profile Settings” and selecting the right option.

Kasidie takes your overall privacy and security seriously. We can't find any records of past data breaches, and the site is SSL-encrypted. 

Real Life Kasidie Review 

As explained earlier, my partner and I signed up to Kasidie to see what it was all about. In this section, we'll be discussing our personal Kasidie experience to help you decide whether or not this is the right swingers' site for you. 

The signup process was a breeze, and we decided to fill out the questionnaire. This asks for your sexual preferences, your tastes, interests, what you're looking for, and so on. All in all, registering on Kasidie took about 15 minutes. Then, we upgraded our Kasidie account and started searching for other members. 

At first, we found the web design to be a tad overwhelming, and there didn't seem to be a clear search function. However, we soon located it under the “who's online?” tab, and it wasn't long before we were viewing other profiles; other profiles were viewing us – and we were sending and receiving messages.

One of the things we enjoyed about Kasidie was its forums and chat rooms. This meant that as well as having private 1:1 chat with other singles and couples, we could also participate in group chats and get to know lots of other swingers at the time. The group chats are a lot of fun – although we recommend going into them with a very open mind. 

Overall, Kasidie is full of young, like-minded people who are open to trying new things, friendly and flirty.
